Biography

Grace Blando grew up dancing in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, where she trained with Youth Dance Ensemble and Marius Andaházy. In the spring of 2021, she graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet and a Minor in Strategic Communication. During her time at the University of Utah, she was able to perform classical works as well as original works by choreographers such as Darrell Grand Moultrie and Melissa Bobick. Throughout her dance training, Grace has attended many summer intensives, including Ballet 5:8, Cincinnati Ballet, Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet, The Rock School of Dance Education, Joffrey Ballet School (NY), and Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Russia. This year, Grace is thrilled to be a member of the Second Company with Ballet 5:8, and she is excited to teach the wonderful students at the School of Ballet 5:8!
