PERFORMANCES

The School of Ballet 5:8 performs two full-length professional productions at Lincoln Way East and West every school year. In addition there are multiple in-studio performances and the Emerging Artist Showcase at the Logan Center.

The 10th Anniversary of our hope-filled twist on an annual Christmas tradition. With a cast of over 300 dancers and Tchaikovsky’s iconic score. December 21st and 22nd, 2024.

The timeless tale of Joseph and the coat of many colors, featuring music and excerpts from The Pharaoh’s Daughter.

Journey with princess Anne as she discovers life outside the kingdom of Dicayo. With excerpts of the Sleeping Beauty and orchestral arrangements by Tchaikovsky and Michael W. Smith, this production is a heart-warm School of Ballet 5:8 favorite.

Embark on a mesmerizing journey into the enchanting world of Toymaker, where the School of Ballet 5:8's talented students bring Leo Delibes' score to life in a captivating ode to Coppélia, filled with magical dolls, love, and the transformative power of forgiveness.

Celebrate with us! School of Ballet 5:8 showcases are held at the end of each semester and showcase the accomplishments of dancers in classes like ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary and more.
