Using a Thera-Band | Pro Tip from Jessica Lohr

Jessica says:

Thera-band is a great tool for foot strengthening! I definitely see a difference in the way that I use and articulate my feet when I am actively doing thera-band work outside of the studio.

For a long time when I would do thera-band exercises I would place the band horizontal to my foot in a way where it only hit the ball of my foot. While this was still helpful, a couple years ago a physical therapist told me to try placing the thera-band vertically along the entire bottom of my foot instead so that when I roll through to my full point, my entire foot is having to work against the resistance of the band. This has helped to strengthen not only my toes and metatarsals but also the entire arch of my foot!
