Jessica Says:

On long show days, I often will start to feel my feet cramping in my pointe shoes, and this is the last thing I want to be worrying about on stage!

A really simple and easy fix I’ve found for this is as simple as packing a banana for the theater. Since they are so high in potassium, bananas are wonderful for muscle cramps and are really simple to pack for on the go. During intermission I have found that eating a banana refuels my energy for the next act and keeps my muscles from feeling depleted. No more cramping feet!
