What People Are Saying

"I love everything about class. I love all the teachers and the friends I have made. I like the relaxed environment. We all want to work hard, but being an adult there’s no pressure. We set our own personal goals and it’s fun to achieve them."

— Lisa Liptak

“I love the teachers! I have made some wonderful new friends, and I am learning new and challenging things each time I attend a class.”

— Trudy Grauzas

"I love that I can take ballet seriously in terms of learning and improving but there is not the same pressures or expectations I felt dancing when I was younger. I enjoy the exercise, but I mostly just love ballet and want to have a comfortable environment to dance! The teachers are also wonderful and I love hanging out with my ballet friends!"

— Samantha Bush

I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon Ballet 5:8 and have been enjoying attending your Adult Beginning Ballet class with Miss Sarah on Wednesday nights. She creates such a welcoming space, helping me and my classmates learn the proper, foundational ballet technique while also encouraging us to enjoy dancing and have fun. Miss Sarah genuinely wants us all to improve and succeed but does so without the pressure that oftentimes comes with classical ballet training. I left my first class overjoyed to have found a studio that fosters such a wonderful environment and was so excited to return. Coming to class has become the highlight of my week, so much so that I wish this class was offered on Monday nights as well! I would come as often as this class was offered.
